DANIEL WU, a Hong Kong actor, director, producer, and an alumni of University of Oregon. After 15 years, Daniel Wu came back to Eugene, Oregon to celebrate the third annual Cinema Pacific film festival in University of Oregon on April 20th 2011.
Daniel Wu brought two films with him for this festival,”Overheard2 ”and “The Heavenly King”. Both showings were sold out immediately.
KWVA was lucky enough to have a chat with the “Brett Pitt in Asia or Johnny Depp in Asia” about the movie he wrote and directed in 2006, “The Heavenly Kings”. The movie won the Hong Kong Film Award for the best director.
